This annual event run by Wiltshire Council, offers a great evening of top-quality fine dining and entertainment, to raise funds for Wiltshire’s sporting talent.
The event recognises the amazing sporting talent in Wiltshire through the Funding Future Olympians and Paralympians grant
foundation.
One of the highest profile business events in Wiltshire, the Sports Gala Dinner offers participating sponsors a unique opportunity to network with other businesses and organisations, and also to meet and fund both aspiring and established medal winning
athletes.
Prior to working with The Occasional Kitchen, the event was managed in house, but in the wake of COVID-19 the provision of in-house catering ended, and Wiltshire Council needed to source a new solution.
The Occasional Kitchen was the perfect choice having been highly recommended by council colleagues from the FUEL school holiday provision, and also because of our reputation for delivering high-quality, fine-dining services.
We worked together to create a bespoke, fine dining menu and delivered the event on-site, cooking everything fresh in our high-spec, mobile field kitchen.
“Faye and Dave are fantastic to work with and go out of their way to accommodate requests throughout the project. The whole team is so flexible and professional. The ongoing cost of living and increased cost of food is impacting everyone but Faye and Dave always work with us to produce a high-end menu that is affordable within budgetary constraints which is greatly appreciated.”
Since working with The Occasional Kitchen the feedback on the food at the gala dinner has been excellent… We highly recommend working with Occasional Kitchen
“Since working with The Occasional Kitchen the feedback on the food at the gala dinner has been excellent and guests have really noticed the catering provision has been taken to the next level.
We highly recommend working with Occasional Kitchen. Next year is the 10th anniversary of our event so we look forward to coming up with exciting ideas to celebrate this milestone.”
