  • 1 leftover ham bone with meat
  • sliced ham for garnish; optional
  • 1 pig tail optional
  • 500 grams split peas
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2-3 medium potatos chopped
  • 1.8 litre water
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 1 piece pepper finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into the pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes
  • Take out the ham bone
  • Remove the lid and mash the vegetables with a potato masher
  • Garnish with sliced ham (optional)
